Smartphone maker Vivo has today confirmed that it plans to launch its phones in additional markets around the world.
Vivo already offers its phones in China, Hong Kong and a handful of other Asian countries, but today the brand has confirmed a large scale push and new official launch markets for their phones.
In a press release received by us today, Vivo has confirmed that it now plans to expand into Singapore, Taiwan, and Russia as well as certain countries in Africa early next year.
Russia marks the first foray for the phone maker into the European market, and we hope this will be followed up by launches in other European countries to follow next year.
It also follows the companies decision to sponsor the 2018 FIFA World Cup too.
The Press Release doesn’t mention if all Vivo products will be released in all markets however so and it’s likely that flagship phones along the lines of the X20 will remain China only models.
