These simple hacks range from setting up a multi-stop route plan when showing houses, changing your navigation apps to one that will cut driving time in half, hiring a commercial junk removal service, and even leaving a jar of opened oats in the fridge to reduce unpleasant odors. These can dip into the more techy, but nonetheless effective tricks. Consider the following when deciding to declutter your own work space whether it be your office or your phone.

1. Consolidate all of your leads in one place.

It is more than likely that you have a lot of different leads coming from multiple sources with enough crowding in your inbox to make your head spin. Are you notification congruent through each source? Do you get text alerts from one site and emails from the other? Or do you utilize push notifications that pop up continually throughout the day. Chances are, with too much information and constant updates, you might just miss one of your leads. Managing different forms of notifications is time-consuming and albeit distracting as your focus is not targeted. Behold an easier solution. There are plenty of products used that collect and funnel different lead sources to you which allows you the time and flexibility to engage with prospective clients all in one place.

2. Manage all of your media in one place.

Time saving tips and tricks will always a realtors best friend. From zipping back and forth between clients and homes, take a moment out of your hectic day to consolidate your media. Taking this step will seriously reduce the amount of time you spend opening and closing apps to track the success of your newest listing meanwhile keeping all of the notifications from potential buyers neat and clean all in one place. Jumping back and forth between your Facebook timeline and Twitter feed while searching through LinkedIn invites can be just as draining as preparation for tours themselves. Invest in managing all of your social media on one single platform to reduce stress and stay efficient.

There are a collection of social media management apps as well as apps that track your social media presence and popularity in real time. The idea behind social media consolidation apps is that they can be utilized as a one-stop-shop for not only time management but also brand management. Attracting new business can be difficult especially from buyers without an online presence. Most agents hold three social media accounts, namely Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as the most popular platforms. Even sweeter, your digital space as well as physical space will feel less cluttered with all your media apps consolidated into one space.

3. Consider separating from your newsletter.

If we are being honest, newsletters are a lot of effort, take up a considerable amount of time, and likely, no one will scroll through all your assuredly amazing content you meticulously curated. All of us know the feeling of waves of newsletters and updates from our favorite stores, brands, and sites that we immediately brush over or target as the first messages to be emptied from our inbox. The reality is you spend too much time on your newsletter for your message to go unappreciated. Avoid getting bogged down by tired content. Spruce up how you disseminate your message. Instead of daily mass emails, why not share content from your blog. Utilize your presence on social media to propel your listings and bring clients to you. If you must hold on to your newsletter, consider utilizing sites like MailChimp or Constant Contact to release the burden of creating your own manual emails. Not to mention, these sites allow you to track how many and how often those on your listserv open your content.

4. Determine your own goals and success metrics.

Most agents will not have the exact same goals and performance benchmarks. It is also unlikely that you would be willing to share your own marketing strategy. Since real estate agents spend a considerable amount of time on digital marketing, either through your own pursuits or with an agency, analytic metrics may not be giving you all of the details and might present a hazy understanding on how to improve performance. Consider breaking down and truly picking apart these metrics. Although sifting through the small details may be frustrating and taxing in the beginning, the ability to sort your site traffic into categories like inquiry, engagement, revenue and the like will shift your overall savvy to the next level. This stage of the game may require some moderate lifting in arranging funnels that target specific marketing objectives of your site although, by isolating these objectives and setting up a goal tracking system, this neat hack will noticeably ramp up your productivity that will reduce stress, give back time, and churn out a more successful prognosis.
