What Is the Best Bang for Your Buck Phone Right Now?

With so many smartphones on the market today, one would think it’s a piece of cake to choose the perfect one. However, when you get down to the task, picking out the one that fits your needs and your budget the best can be a real challenge. Many of the models are really similar in their features and performance, but their price can differ. So, to help you, here are some of the most outstanding models in each category that deserve your attention.

Budget

Motorola G6 Play

Despite being in the low-range, Motorola Moto G6 Play has a lot to offer for the humble price of about $200. Its best advantage is probably its good battery life, so if that’s what you’re looking for in a budget phone, this one will have you covered. With a Snapdragon 430 SoC, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, its specifications are fair for its price, in addition, its screen and camera are decent too.

However, if you stretch your budget a bit, you can get the Moto G6 that has a larger RAM (4GB) but slightly worse battery life, or even the Moto G6 Plus that boasts dual rear cameras. The build of these two models is considerably sturdier and more resistant than the G6 Play, however, they are still sensitive to water, which is important to keep in mind.

Mid-range

Providing more than you would guess in this range, the Honor 10 is worthy of ruling all the lists. It’s a great value for money thanks to its high-end-like features, including a spectacular FHD+ screen, 128GB of internal storage and a Kirin 970 SoC. Its design is also eye-catching, and you will never get bored of it. The dual back camera is capable of producing pretty nice quality photos, though it’s still not on the same level as the high-end ones.

If that is an important aspect to you, stretching your budget a bit and going for the similar Huawei P 20 is another good option. Still, both of these phones have a similar battery life with a 3400mAh battery, which leaves room for improvement in that regard. However, Honor 10 is still an amazing and stylish option and a great value for money.

High-end

When it comes to high-end quality, it’s no question that the recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 stands out. Specifications-wise, it’s hard (if not impossible) to beat, with 6 or 8 GB RAM, a strong, 4000mAh battery and more storage than you will know what to do with. The dual, 12+12MP back and 8 MP front cameras give a flawless performance and sharp, vibrant photos even in low light – which is a big plus.

The only real downside is its size – though, it can hardly be called a downside when it has such a splendid display. Moreover, the S pen it comes with can be a really useful tool for people working in visual industries. However, the Galaxys are often reported to be fragile devices, so it’s best if you secure yourself. Many stores like Personal Digital offer warranty, which is really worth getting when it comes to expensive pieces of tech such as this model.

However, if you want a high-end model such as this one but still find the price a tad bit too high, the previously released Note 8 is a pretty close alternative with a couple of hundred dollars off the price tag.

While it is true that there are countless smartphones on the market right now and new ones are coming out every day, there are some staples that simply stand out in their range, and deservedly so. Consider your budget and your needs carefully to make sure you will be able to get the most out of your new smartphone.
