Theresa May faces her biggest test yet, as MPs gather to vote tonight on her Brexit deal. The debacle brought to light how rigid parliamentary structures can be for pregnant women and new parents, who do not get formal maternity or paternity leave. My decision to delay my baby's birth is not one I take lightly. It's my duty to represent Hampstead & Kilburn, and I will do just that. Some votes are known to come right down to the wire, with slim majorities swaying the outcome either way.A whip – an appointed MP who takes care of their party’s parliamentary business – will give the MP’s name to division clerks in either the “aye” or “no” lobby, which counts as a vote in person.

No wonder they look back fondly at the past.Nostalgia is powerful: From the movies we watched as children to the music that helped us survive high school, our memories of the “good ol’ days” invoke powerful feelings of security, comfort and trust.Today, nostalgia has a tight grip on millennials in particular due to the rapid technological revolution they’ve experienced in their lifetimes. They’ve seen the birth of the internet, the rise of social media and the societal influx of virtual reality and artificial intelligence. So, if your company has millennial customers, you might want to consider the nostalgia factor closely. Here are some non-traditional ways to connect your company with the past:The craze for retro clothing at Urban Outfitters, TopShop and Madewell; the timeless soundtracks from the '60s in modern retail stores, the love of '70s throwback bars in college towns: All are evidence of this phenomenon.
Instagram has found something it likes more than a Kardashian-Jenner family baby, and it’s an egg. This weekend, a photo of a plain egg became the most-liked photo on Instagram, the social app owned by Facebook with over one billion users that’s reflective of internet culture. The photo, which you can see below in its full glory, currently has more than 23 million likes at the time of writing. That has seen it surpass a February 18 photo from Kylie Jenner — the sister of Kim Kardashian and a reality TV star in her own right — which announced the birth of her baby with rapper Travis Scott and has 18.2 million likes.Unlike Jenner, who has 21 million Instagram followers, the egg account — “world_record_egg” — is a newcomer that seems to have been created in early January.Nothing is known of its ownership, although it now has 2.4 million followers which could — and I can’t believe I’m writing this… — make it an influencer account.
Last June, an incredibly bright supernova known as "The Cow" ripped across the sky, hovering above the Earth for a number of weeks. While The Cow provided significant excitement for astronomers, who learned it traveled 200 million light-years, new research suggests that it was the birth of a black hole or neutron star, a first in the history of mankind. After looking at several images, hard X-rays and microwaves of the object officially known as AT2018cow, researchers determined that their telescopes captured the exact moment a star collapse and a black hole was formed. The bright glow was caused by the debris swirling around its event horizon, astonishing the researchers.THE SUN WILL BECOME A GIANT CRYSTAL BALL WHEN IT DIES"We think that 'The Cow' is the formation of an accreting black hole or neutron star," said Northwestern's Raffaella Margutti, who led the research, in a statement.
A strange celestial explosion, nicknamed "The Cow", occurred in a galaxy almost 200 million light years away on June 16, 2018 and it had astronomers udderly bamboozled.Picked up by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) telescopes in Hawaii, the mysterious event was officially named "AT2018cow".Astronomers, always one for a nickname, quickly jumped on "the Cow" as the unofficial moniker. The flash of light produced by the Cow was sudden and about 10 times brighter than expected for an exploding star.A second group suggested the event was caused by a huge black hole obliterating a dying star known as a "white dwarf".On Thursday, astronomers from those teams put forth their theories on the Cow's origins during a panel discussion at the 233rd American Astronomical Society.
Germany automotive firm Continental is best know for its tires, but at CES 2019 the company is demonstrating something a little different: package delivery by robot dog.As part of its research into the future of mobility, Continental has partnered with robotics company ANYbotics (a spin off from ETH Zurich) to imagine the future of package delivery. In a staged demonstration on the CES show floor, the firm showed how one of ANYbotics’ four-legged robots could jump out the back of a self-driving delivery truck and carry a package right up to someone’s front door.In the demo, the ANYMal robot could be seen slowly picking its way over debris in the garden before ringing the fake doorbell with one if its limbs. It then tips the package off its back onto the porch and performs a little victory dance as a bonus. As you might guess from the staged nature of this demo, Continental has no plans to make this a real service any time soon.
After the PC news, 8K TVs and Bixby-sporting washing machines, the company announced “one more thing,” handing over a few brief moments to announce a robotics division, three new consumer and retail robots and a wearable exoskeleton. It was a pretty massive reveal in an extremely short space, and, quite frankly, raised far more questions than it answered. This goes double for a company like Samsung, which has been taking extra care in recent months to demonstrate its commitment to the future, as the mobile industry undergoes its first major slowdown since the birth of the smartphone. It follows a similar play by LG, which has offered a glimpse into its own robotics plans for back to back years, including allowing a ‘bot to copilot this year’s keynote. We all walked away from the press conference unsure of what to make of it all, with little more to show for things than a brief onstage demo. There are also yoga lessons and an emergency system that will dial 911 if a user falls.
Robots won’t replace the millions of delivery workers who crisscross Chinese cities every day, carrying food and groceries to consumers in all sorts of weather.Instead, humans and machines will collaborate, making sure tasty meals make it to hungry mouths in a timely manner.“Human-machine collaboration will be the model for autonomous food delivery for a very long period of time,” says Xia Huaxia, the company’s chief scientist, and general manager of the autonomous delivery department. These people—mainly young men—dart around the streets of the country’s cities and towns, decked out in the company’s signature yellow uniforms. For delivery in shopping centers, meals were delivered from restaurants inside the mall to delivery workers waiting at assigned collection points outside, saving drivers the time and effort of going into the mall to pick up an order. The third trial at less-populated areas such as university towns featured a closed-loop operation, with delivery direct from merchant partners to consumers.
5 SIGNS YOU MIGHT BE DATING A PSYCHOPATH – It would not be too wrong to consider that each and everyone of us wishes to have someone they can spend their rest of their lives with, and this premise is what basically what gave birth to the concept of dating. The basic purpose of dating is to find a suitable partner who would motivate you during the high and lows of the life, someone who empowers you, gets used to your farts or the fact that you might not brush your teeth after the Garlic Naan spree! However, how would you feel if the person you choose turns out to be a mentally ill individual with no sense of empathy and eventually it turns out that his/her personality is just a façade? We’re talking about psychopaths quite simply put.Or in other words, he/she’s the one who will track your finger movements to access your passcode in order to read all your chats just to find something fishy.Who talks business at 1 AM?
It was a year ago this month that San Francisco-based startup Udelv laid claim to the world’s first autonomous grocery delivery service on public roads after partnering with Draeger’s Market for a trial operation in San Mateo, California.Since then it’s signed a deal to use 10 of its autonomous delivery vans to transport orders to grocery store customers in Oklahoma City. The service is set to launch this year.Udelv’s ongoing efforts have now caught the eye of retail giant Walmart, with the pair teaming up to trial an autonomous grocery delivery service from this month in the city of Surprise, Arizona, just north-west of Phoenix. To use the service, Walmart customers simply order their groceries online as usual and if one of Udelv’s autonomous vehicles is available, it’ll tootle to the delivery address with a safety driver on board.Such a service, it says, “can cut delivery costs, narrow delivery windows, and make more goods more accessible to more people, enabling customers to save time and live better.”
Meituan Dianping, China’s largest on-demand food delivery company, announced today at CES that it has signed three new major partners for the development of its autonomous delivery open platform. They are Nvidia, Italian automotive design company Icona and French automotive supplier Valeo. This is the first time Meituan Dianping, which went public four months ago in Hong Kong, has attended CES, where it exhibited its Meituan Autonomous Delivery (MAD) platform.Valeo will provide engines and sensors for MAD’s autonomous delivery vehicles and Nvidia’s technology will be used in its research and development and trial operations, while Icona will serve as a design partner for robots and vehicles.Launched last July in Beijing, after a four-month trial, MAD’s partners already include Uditech, Segway-GX, iDriverPlus and Roadster. As an open platform, MAD’s partners have been able to work on their own autonomous delivery vehicles.
Udelv, a self-driving delivery startup, announced that it was teaming up with Walmart to pilot an autonomous grocery delivery service. The Burlingame, California-based company said it was also partnering with Baidu to pilot the Chinese search giant’s latest autonomous driving open platform, Apollo 3.5.It’s the latest in a series of announcements centered on the use of autonomous vehicles in last-mile delivery scenarios, underscoring a core truth about the future: it’s risky to put human passengers in robot vehicles, but it’s much less risky to put groceries and Amazon packages in them.Udelv has been using its fleet of autonomous vans to test grocery delivery with a variety of food markets.Last year, the startup signed a deal to supply Oklahoma City’s largest grocery chain with self-driving vehicles.Previously, the company’s bright orange vans were delivering groceries for the high-end Draeger’s Market chain in the Bay Area city of San Mateo.
Amazon isn't giving up on its Key home delivery service.Rather than letting couriers in through your front door, Amazon wants you to open up your garage. The company announced its new Key for Garage expansion at CES, a new variation on its home delivery service that allows couriers to securely deliver packages where you park your cars or keep all your junk.Prime members can take advantage of the service, but you'll need a few pieces of hardware.Amazon collaborated with myQ for Key for Garage, allowing anyone with a myQ-compatible smart garage door opener or door-controlling hub (like those from Chamberlain and LiftMaster) to connect their systems to the Amazon Key app. When a courier is scheduled to deliver a package, the Key service will remotely unlock and open your garage door and close and lock it again once the package has been delivered.
Monday night marked the arrival of brand new footage from Captain Marvel. The film opens March 8, giving you two months to figure out when you want to see the film but, based on this new extended TV spot, that’s probably going to be as soon as possible. That’s a great spot all around but, for me, the highlight is Coulson asking Nick Fury if he can find more heroes like Carol. The answer, as we know, is yes, he will. He’ll find Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be born.Plus there’s a lot of humour in the footage, more than we’ve seen so far.

Party is one of the best and foremost part of our life which attach from the beginning of the human’s birth and go through out the life until they not died. There is one of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.
It’s no wonder heavy hitters like Google X labs graduate Wing and Amazon are making sizable investments in the technology, in part by piloting drones deliveries in Australia, the U.K., and soon Helsinki.Six-year-old Israeli startup Flytrex, which in 2018 deployed what it claims is the first “golf course delivery system” in the U.S., today announced that it has secured $7.5 million in Series B financing, led by Benhamou Global Ventures, with additional investment from Btov.More recently, in September 2018, Flytrex kicked off the aforementioned golf course delivery program in North Dakota at King’s Walk.Flytrex CEO and cofounder Yariv Bash said the capital will be used to scale up operations and improve the company’s existing drone delivery services.“Drone delivery is taking off, and we are delighted that BGV and Btov will be joining us in making drone deliveries a global reality,” Bash said.Dubbed InAir, the patented wire-drop system employs a tethered cord that gently lowers packages to the ground after delivery recipients confirm their proximity on Flytrex’s app.
