Mirrorless cameras have become quite the buzz nowadays, and there is no day I won't be browsing around some tech news and won't come across something that relates to the Mirrorless Cameras. So what exactly is this mirrorless camera then and what makes it special?Well, to begin with, a mirrorless camera is a camera that is without a reflex mirror, which has been a key component of the cameras of the past, and in particular the DSLR cameras. This reflex mirror would reflect the light to the optical viewfinder and hence behave as the key component in taking those stills. So in the mirrorless cameras, what they have done is taken away those reflective mirrors and taken away the optical viewfinder, and let the image sensor be exposed to the incoming light at all the time. And of course, the term mirrorless came in, because well, all the previous generation cameras were all mirrored. The Mirrorless cameras didn't really become very popular until the advent of Mirrorless cameras with interchangeable lenses. Not only they allow you to switch the lens on the go, but all the modern point and shoot cameras also happen to be mirrorless.
