5. Click save and apply button and then select reboot now tab to make all the changes effective on the router’s memory.

Now that all the hardware and software set up has been done, your Netgear wireless router will be able to be used for the internet and networking tasks. Just make sure that the reboot at the end has taken place without any major hindrance.

Is it mandatory to use the web address www.routerlogin.net for router setup page access?

No, it is absolutely not necessary to access your Netgear router’s web setup page via routerlogin.net only. Users can also use the local static IP 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 for accessing the Netgear wireless router admin control page. The Netgear Genie application can also be used for the router setup.

What to do if I forgot the router login password?

Netgear users absolutely don’t need to panic if they have forgotten the router login password because there are few way outs for this problem. What you can do in this case is simply reset your Netgear device to its original factory settings which will eventually erase all the information from its memory and it will be brought back to its basic factory settings.
