Amazon plans to roll out more than 100 kiosks in shopping malls across India by the end of this year.
They’ll sell devices such as its Kindle e-book reader, Echo smart speaker, and Fire TV dongle.
The US company has been operating two kiosks in Bangalore and one each in Mumbai and Ahmedabad for more than a year.
Last week, it opened its fifth kiosk in Logix Mall in Noida.
A top mall executive said the new Amazon kiosks will be run by third-party franchisees.
Earlier this month, Amazon said it was closing more than 80 pop-up stores in US malls after years of trials with the concept.
