National Testing Agency releases the JEE Main cutoff every year after the exam has been concluded. Recently NTA has conducted JEE Main 2019 examination for the second time from 8th to 12th April 2019. The cutoff of the same is scheduled to be released on 30th April 2019 along with the result. Applicants will be able to check the cutoff on the result portal. Till the time JEE Main cutoff is not released, students can refer to the JEE Main Previous Year Cutoff as given in the article below.

The minimum score required by an individual to have higher chances of getting admission is known as the JEE Main cutoff. Candidates who score equivalent to or above the prescribed cutoff are considered eligible and hence granted admission in any of the participating institutes. Additionally, candidates who meet the cutoff can also appear for JEE Advanced. The cutoff is released separately for each of the category and branch of B.Tech course. The concerned authority prepares the cutoff by taking into consideration various the following factors:

Total number of candidates who have applied for the admission

Total number of candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam.

The category under which the candidate has opted for admission

The difficulty level of the exam

Total number of available seats
