5 Ultimate Questions Related to Disney+

Disney recently announced Disney+, a new streaming service that will be available for users from November 12, 2019. It will have all your favorite movies and shows along with original Disney content. Its low subscription fee of $6.99 makes it stand out from the rest and will give fierce competition to other streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. There are plenty of questions that come in our mind related to this new streaming service. We have discussed them over here ideally, have a look!

Which devices can access Disney+ quickly?

It has been confirmed that the Disney+ will have a presence on both mobile and desktop along with PS4 and Roku. Though, the particular devices where this streaming service will be available in not mentioned yet. Neither any confirmation is there regarding any deal with any other streaming devices or smart TVs.

Which Disney movies will be there in Disney+?

When it comes to Pixar movies, only 13 out of 20 are destined to exist currently in the Disney+. The list includes Toy Story, Toy Story 4, Cars, Up, Ratatouille, Inside Out, A Bug’s Life,  Monster’s University, The Good Dinosaur, The Incredibles,  Finding Nemo, Wall-E,  and Finding Dory. The Toy Story part 2 and 3 are not even there. Also, among hundreds of classic Disney animated movies, only 17 are likely to be there in this streaming service. They are The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, Frozen, Big Hero 6, 101 Dalmatians, Sleeping Beauty, The Prince & The Pauper, A Goofy Movie, Zootopia, An Extremely Goofy Movie, Moana, Lilo & Stitch, Fantasia, Hercules, and The Sword in the Stone. Some of them are not even Disney classics from the list.

What Disney+’s Marvel library will have?

If you think the full MCU will be there in the Disney+, it is not assured till now. It will have the exclusive Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame once they run on theaters and VOD platforms along with Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man at the time of the launch. And, Ant-Man, Black Panther, and Thor: Ragnarok will be available in the service later on. But, they are only seven out of  22 MCU movies. Hence, you might not see the rest of the Marvel classics in the Disney+ library.

What about Original Shows by Disney?

Disney channel shows like Kim Possible, That’s So Raven, and Lizzie McGuire might be there in the watching list, but the particular list of the all the Disney Channel shows is not available till yet. However, Disney assures that around 5000 TV episodes will be covered from over hundreds of shows in its streaming platform. With the passing time, the company will be adding approximately 500 movies and 2500 TV episodes once this streaming service launches.

Is the Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu bundle possible?

Disney already holds a stake in Hulu and has launched its sports streaming service ESPN+ already. Now, with Disney+, it wants to conquer the streaming market in the best way possible. If all of these three services –  Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ – combine for users at less price, it will be a great deal. Hulu is priced $5.99 monthly while ESPN+ is $4.99 for a month. However, it is not confirmed yet.

With that being said, Disney+ looks like a promising streaming service that will be another great option to watch movies and shows!
