DBS Bank and Indonesian ride-hailing giant Gojek have announced that customers in Singapore can now pay for their rides with the bank’s payments app.
Both iOS and Android users of Gojek in Singapore will be able to use DBS PayLah as a preferred payment method for their rides.
The companies are also looking to extend the payments option to users in Indonesia, a key growth market for DBS, according to Shee Tse Koon, DBS Bank’s Singapore country head.
As part of the partnership, Gojek’s drivers in Singapore can now make unlimited withdrawals from their wallets in real-time.
Earnings are deposited to their bank accounts.
