Leading cryptocurrency mining chips producer Bitmain is currently working with advisers as it prepares to revive plans for an initial public offering amid Bitcoin reaching a one-year high, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Chinese company is planning on proceeding with a US share sale that could take place as soon as the second half of 2019, the people added.

It was previously reported that the cryptocurrency mining giant pursued a Hong Kong IPO of as much as US$3 billion, but has let its application lapse.
