Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has been subject of various headlines in the tech industry for nearly a year now.
First over its sour relationship with the US that has even now culminated in the States banning the Chinese firm from all Government contracts.
Then over rumors that it has been secretly working on Android alternative – the Huawei HongMeng OS.
Well, that the company is working on releasing its own Operating system isn’t news – it has been confirmed officially.
But there has been a couple of controversial reports as to the real intent of the OS.
First, a company executive confirmed it is designed for Smartphones, then came reports from a very senior exec that the so-called Huawei HongMeng OS is destined for its Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and not smartphones as peddled.
