Shamshera’s first looks make it impossible to recognize Ranbir as he comes up in a beefed look.
As Ranbir told in his interview that the plot of the film is not based on a ‘Daaku’ but rather revolving around a local tribe fighting for their independence, Ranbir’s pickup of this kind of look clearly gives him a revolutionist’s face.
Ranbir tells PTI “Shamshera is not a story of a ‘dark’, but a film based in the 1800s, it is about a dacoit tribe who are fighting for their rights and independence from the British.
There was a great story of heroism, a story rooted in our country which actually happened back then.”
Shamshera’s first look depicts that Ranbir is taking a break from his traditional lover roles and entering the new side of his character with Shamshera.
