In the last 5 years, many countries have conferred their highest civilian honour on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his contribution to bilateral ties or global peace.
This award is Russia’s highest state decoration given to prominent statesmen and public figures.
PM Modi was conferred with this award for exceptional services in promoting special and privileged strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India and friendly relations between the Russian and Indian peoples.
United Arab Emirates made the announcement to confer its highest civilian honour Order of Zayed on PM Modi for his efforts to boost bilateral ties between India and UAE.
“We have historical and comprehensive strategic ties with India, reinforced by the pivotal role of my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gave these relations a big boost.
In appreciation of his efforts, the UAE President grants him the Zayed Medal,” the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Al Nahyan tweeted.
