Nova Scotia Conducts Labour Market Priorities Stream Draw Inviting 204 Express Entry Candidates

The province of Nova Scotia after three months held its first Labour Market Priorities draw on September 4, 2019.

This current draw invited 204 Express Entry candidates for permanent residency.

This latest draw targeted those Express Entry candidates who had selected French as their first official language and have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 8 or higher in French in all language sections (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

The labour Market Priorities Stream of Nova Scotia searches Canada's Express Entry pool to look out for eligible candidates who match the labour market needs in the province.

Since its inception in the year 2018, the stream has invited early childhood education workers, financial auditors and accountants, and French-speaking Express Entry candidates.

The eligible candidates who had to have a CLB score of at least 6 or higher in English and Bachelor’s degree or a completed program of three years or more at a university, college, trade or technical school.
