Annapurna Sunrise trekking is an easy walk through the countryside with rhododendron forests and cultural villages. This is a colorful short trip in Annapurna region with amazing scenery of mountains. Poon Hill (3210m) is the highest elevation of the entire trip, where you have a magnificent panoramic view during sunrise and rise.

The Annapurna Sunrise trek reveals some of the best views and is considered by many as the best viewpoint in the entire Annapurna Area. Most of the trip you have spectacular mountain scenery, crossing through charming villages inhabited by the Magar and Gurung communities. The people here are very friendly with a lot of humor sense and great hospitality for the guest. So, you can feel like in your home with family, after these people's behavior, even you are a long-range of your country. For the most part, the trail goes through incredible dense forests of rhododendron and deep subtropical valleys with the sound of birds and some time can see dear and monkey. If you visit during spring, the jungle looks colorful by rhododendron and magnolia blooming. The trail looks red carpet paved while dropping the flower on, you may fell someone is welcoming for some supreme person. You can’t imagine the magnificence of the sunrise splendid from Poon Hill that you will witness from here, which illuminates the peaks of the entire range, leaving you enthralled. The additional presence of rice terraces completes the picture making it a photographer's paradise.  At the climax, the sun touches the snow-capped summits of the Himalayan giants, Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre and network of other peaks appear like magic.

Annapurna Sunrise trek start from Nayapul or Phedi, after a short drive from Pokhara. Then goes through the Thihkedhunga, Ulleri, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Ghandruk and back to Pokhara make short loop of Annapurna. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu.

Day 02: Trekking preparation and permit paper workday.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (950m) – 6 to 7 hours by tourist bus

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (1010m) – 1: 45 hours and trek to Tikhedunga (1570meters) - 3 hours

Day 05: Trek Thikdhunga to Ghorepani (2840m) – 5 to 6 hours

Day 06: Hike up Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m) - 45 minutes to Tadapani (2520m) – 4 to 5 hours

Day 07: Trek Tadapani to Jhinu Danda (hot spring) (1780m) - 5 to 6 hours

Day 08: Trek Jhinu Danda to Tolka (1790m) - 4 to 5 hours

Day 09: Trek Tolka to Dhampus (1580m) - 3 to 4 hours

Day 10: Trek Dhampus to Phedi (1080m) -1: 45 hours, Drive to Pokhara - 40 minutes

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning by Tourist Bus - 6 to 7 hours

Day 12: Your destination.

Trip Note
