Yeast Free Diets For Candidiasis Sufferers

We have seen them on TV, the Essential M Review internet, and even in magazines. products claiming to help with digestion and regular bowel movements. It may be a bit of an embarrassing topic but it is something many people wonder about. So should we pay some guy a huge amount of money for his colon cleansing system, go on some strict diet that involves eating a lot of a specific food, or buy that specific brand of yogurt that the actress on TV suggested. For many, the answer may just be to learn about which whole foods may actually promote healthy bowel movements.

Whole foods consist of fruits, vegetables, whole grains while at the same time limiting animal proteins and avoiding processed or refined foods. These diets usually use nuts, healthy oils, a little bit of lean meat, and beans for your fat and protein intake.

What whole foods can stimulate a healthy digestive system. Start with vegetables. They are low in calories, usually cheaper than meats, and are full of fiber. This fiber basically lubricates your digestive system which makes it easier for bowel movements. Alfalfa sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, and beats are easy to find at most stores for most of the year and are great additions to a whole foods diet. And sweet potatoes are a healthier alternative to starchy or waxy potatoes and are also full of fiber.

Consider nuts and seeds. Walnuts, pine nuts, almonds, and Brazil nuts are all sources of lean protein that can be found at most grocery stores. You can add them to salads, desserts, or have a single serving as a snack during the day. Sesame seeds, psyllium seeds, fenugreek seeds and flax seeds are full of fiber and have many other health benefits. Sesame seeds taste great over Asian salads, can be ground to make tahini paste which is a staple ingredient in Mediterranean hummus. Flax seeds can be sprinkled on salad or ground and added to smoothies for a pick me up for your digestive system.
