Katadata.co.id - The Indonesian Democratic party of Struggle (PDIP) officially supports Bambang Soesatyo as the Chairman of the Assembly Permusyawarakatan Rakyat (MPR) for the period 2019-2024.
The decision was taken after the UNION met with politicians who are often called Bamsoet it's in the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (2/10).
“According to the direction of the Chairman of PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri, the party we will support Bambang Soesatyo from the Golkar Party as candidate for Chairman of the MPR,” said the Chairman of the PDIP Faction in the MPR Ahmad Basarah through a written statement, Wednesday (2/10).
PDIP asked Bambang favor of the plan amendment limited the 1945 CONSTITUTION.
PDIP also requires that Bambang continue the program of socialization of four Pillars of the ASSEMBLY when elected.
In addition, the Nasdem supports Bambang because it has a track record of leading the legislature.
