18 October, 2019: CEVA Logistics today announced the appointment of Niels van Namen as the global head of its healthcare business development.
Niels van Namen has an extensive track record in the sector with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and over a decade in the healthcare logistics industry.
His previous positions include Business Development Director Healthcare for DSV and VP Healthcare Europe for UPS' Healthcare and Life Science Sector.
As global sector leader, he will drive growth and develop the strategy for CEVA’s growing Healthcare Sector and will be based from one of the company’s strategically-located healthcare facilities at Culemborg in the Netherlands, said the release.
Laurent Binetti, Chief Commercial Officer – CEVA Logistics, says: “With a vast network throughout the logistics and Healthcare industries, Niels will be a great asset for the future growth of CEVA in the Healthcare sector.

August 20, 2019: CEVA Logistics has renewed its contract with Borr Drilling for another year till August 2020.
The companies have been working together since Borr's inception in 2016.
"There were a number of key highlights to this contract retention including CEVA's overall value proposition, our consistency in managing Borr Drilling's operational needs and our ability to react and support during emergencies and out of hours," said Marcelo Franceschetti, executive vice president global energy sector, CEVA.
Borr extended the contract considering the global scope of CEVA’s Rig Hub logistics concept located in Houston, Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Singapore and Dubai combined with its global operational governance.
"We have delivered a number of specialist logistics services serving both rig supplies and project cargoes across the globe and we are delighted to continue our partnership with Borr Drilling for another year,” added Franceschetti.
Borr Drilling owns and operates jack-up rigs of modern and high-specification designs providing drilling services worldwide in water depths up to approximately 400 feet.

iHerb, a US-based natural health products company, has selected CEVA to provide air export services to Japan and Singapore, from their newly opened logistics and distribution center near South Korea's Incheon International Airport.
CEVA Logistics has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi Ports to work with the Hope Consortium.
