SimpleStudy is an online education program meant for students of Ireland that provides them with the exam paper solutions and required notes to help them prepare for their exams. This project has been built from scratch keeping in mind all the business requirements of the client to provide them with an ELearning platform that is scalable, flexible, robust, functional, and secure. The main aspect was the fact that the LMS should be able to host a large number of subscribers looking forward to leveraging from SimpleStudy.
This project had its own set of challenges that Chapter247 Infotech has overcome to deliver a software product that is just the way the client was looking for. The main challenge was to build the whole product from scratch based on the client’s requirements that included multidimensional functionalities such as subscriptions, payments, exam organizational structure, and user hierarchy for seamless operations that took place smoothly without any glitches.
As the client wanted to make an LMS that was capable of hosting a large number of subscribers without affecting the performance, scalability and flexibility were important. To fulfill this requirement, we chose to build the SimpleStudy web application using the Codeigniter framework, which is a PHP based framework. Codeigniter has offered MVC (Model-View-Control) to deliver a class-apart UX to the customers.
