As we have studied in our school that addition and removal of any molecules in water, which changes the physical, chemical, and biological property of water leads to water pollution. As water is the natural solvent and can dissolve everything in it. Due to this property, water becomes the home for the various contaminants.

The presence of an excess amount of dissolved mineral also damage the water quality and makes the water hard in nature. Hard water is not suitable for the skin and hair health, as it leads to the dryness of the skin and promotes hair loss. The dryness of the skin leads to various kinds of skin disease such as eczema, psoriasis, etc. But thanks to the technology mainly Demineralization Plant which helps you with this.

A DM unit removes the excess minerals present in the water and makes the water perfect for the human uses. The demineralization process is done by using various techniques such as

  • Distillation
  • Deionization
  • Membrane Filtration (reverse osmosis or nano-filtration)
  • Electrodialysis

Principal of Demineralization

It is a physical process which works on the principle of the ion exchange. In this process, water is passed through two small polystyrene bead filled.

Some Advantages of DM Plant

The DM system possesses various advantages some of them are listed below:

  • Water produced by the demineralization process is pure than the water produced by the distillation process.
  • The DM Plant Manufacturer designs a DM unit of different size, shape, capacity, and specialization. It can be used for various purposes.
  • This process is completely eco-friendly as it doesn't produce any chemical and waster products.
  • It is easy to use and transport as it doesn't require large storage space.
  • Use of this plant for the industrial process reduces the manufacturing cost.
