Foreign Tourist - Central Statistics agency (BPS) recorded the number of visits of foreign tourists or foreign tourists in January-September of 2019 reach 12,27 million visits.
This amount reached 68% of the target proclaimed by the government as many as 18 million visits.
The head of BPS Suhariyanto explain the number of tourist arrivals in September 2019 of as much as 1.4 million visits, down from 1.56 million visits in the previous month.
While all of this year to september the number reached 12,27 million visits, up 2,63% compared to the same period last year.
"If we see the number of tourists 1.4 million visits September 2019, the first still from Malaysia amounted to 17%, China 12%, Singapore 11%, and Australia 10%.
