I find Face Time very useful because I can stay in touch with my family members as well as friends who stay far away. So whenever Face Time stops working, I start getting worried a lot. Here, you will get to know the method of fixing Face Time issues.
Switch on and off Wi-Fi or go to Cellular Data
- Firstly, you need to refresh the net connection by turning off and then turning on Wi-Fi.
- Visit Settings.
- Then, press on Wi-Fi and disable it with the help of pushing the toggle.
- Now wait around half a minute and then enable it.
An alternative method-
(For the users of LTE Data)
- Firstly, press on Settings.
- Then, press on Cellular.
- After that, push the Cellular Data off and on.
Change the DNS
For iDevices-
- Firstly, click on Settings.
- After that, press on Wi-Fi.
- Next, click on your network’s name.
- Then, press on Configure DNS.
- After that, press on Manual.
- Next, click on Add Server.
- Then, write 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Lastly, press on Save.
- Ensure that you have removed the present DNS by pressing in the red minus symbol as well as tap on Delete.
For Mac device users-
- Press on System Preferences.
- Then, press on Network.
- After that, press on Your Network’s Name.
- Next, click on Advanced.
- Then, press on the + option for adding Google DNS.
- After that, write 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Next, click on ‘OK’.
- After that, press on Apply.
- If you do not prefer Google’s Public DNS, then try OpenDNS or else Cloudfare.
Restarting device
For Mac users-
- Firstly, click on the Apple Menu.
- Then, press on Restart.
Restarting an iDevice-
- Tap on the power switch till the slider gets displayed and push it to switch it off. Power up as normal.
For restarting an iPhone X Series and gadgets that do not have the home switch, you need to follow the below-mentioned points.
- Firstly, do a long press on volume switch and the Power or side switch till the slider gets displayed on the screen.
- Then, move the slider for switching it off fully.
- As soon as your device is switched off, do a long press on the Power or Side switch till you are able to view the Apple symbol.
For the users of iOS 11 and the newer-
(By using the Settings Menu method)
- Firstly, press on Settings.
- Then, press on General.
- After that, move downwards.
- Next, click on Shut Down.
- After waiting for half a minute, you need to power it on.
