Palm Oil - Trade minister Agus Suparmanto said Indonesia will sue the European Union to the World Trade Organization (WTO) this year.
“We will schedule (filing a lawsuit) at least this year there is one round one so there is progress,” he said in the office of the coordinating Ministry for Economic affairs, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/11).
Agus said it also will conduct talks with the European Union related product of palm oil and its derivatives, as well as restrictions on the content of palm oil in the food.
He explained, before registering a lawsuit to the WTO, the government certainly needs time to prepare the lawsuit.
The Panel will be formed when there is no collective agreement with the Eu.
