December 09, 2019: Uganda Airlines, which took to the skies after 18 years on August 27, 2019, from Entebbe Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, Kenya, now plans Zanzibar, Tanzania as its next destination from December 16.

Besides Nairobi, the airline already flies to Mombasa (Kenya), Juba (South Sudan), Bujumbura (Burundi), Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), and Mogadishu (Somalia) with Zanzibar becoming the carrier’s 8th destination.
The newly revived carrier now has a fleet of four CRJ 900 series operating routes in East and Central Africa.
