MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical, or metallurgical engineering degree preferred
- 3-5 years of foundry experience in the manufacturing and automotive industry
- Machining experience on CNC and Dial lines
- Understanding of GD&T – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Understanding of emissions, calibration, and combustion
- Understanding of OEM engineering and development processes
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of gas and diesel engine requirements
- Must be able to read and interpret part prints
- Understanding of CAE, Magmasoft, CFD, and FEA
- Understanding of starch machine and flow developments
- CMM and Casting layout experience
- Understanding of various foundry processes
- Presentation skills required for the presentation of WII Technical materials to in-house and international customers
