Searching for design ideas for your Cafe? Try TFOD.

Coffeehouses, coffee shops or cafés are informal daytime hang-out spots, primarily popular among the younger crowds. A café shares some of the same characteristics of a bar or restaurant, but it is different from a cafeteria.
From a cultural standpoint, coffeehouses largely serve as centers of social interaction: the coffeehouse provides social members with a place to congregate, talk, write, read, entertain one another, or pass time, whether individually or in small groups of two or three people. A coffeehouse serves as an informal club for its regular members.

With offices becoming mobile and on-the-go, cafés also serve as effective venues for business meetings. Offering a range of hot and cold beverages, snacks and cakes/pastries, cafés have become popular in small and large towns and cities.

Often large hotels keep a 24-hour operational coffee-shop on the property for the convenience of the patrons.
