Youtube has recently announced that videos which are related to doctored and manipulated content will be removed from youtube which may mislead voters, in the latest effort to stem online misinformation.
We all know that the video service youtube is owned by Google. The Youtube said that they were taking the measures from their reliable sources for the news and to provide a healthy political discourse as an effort.
YouTube’s vice president of government affairs and public policy Leslie Miller said in a blog post that the service’s community standards will ban the contents which are technically manipulated or doctored in a way that misleads users and may pose a serious risk of egregious harm and also content which misleads people’s during election.

The preserved skull is just 7.1 millimetres (less than one-third of an inch) long, likely making it the smallest dinosaur yet discovered.
Despite its minuscule size, researchers believe it hunted insects, using its sharp teeth and large eyes to home in on prey.
Unlike fossils encased in rock, amber specimens still retain their soft tissue, showing scientists their original colour and morphology.
"We think it's a bird -- the skull has a shape that only occurs in birds and some dinosaurs," she said, "However there are no skull characteristics that define birds therefore it could be a dinosaur or even something else."
