A genuine Yogi(practitioner) is person who has purchased self-knowledge and through continuous practice and detachment has had the opportunity to rest in true self, so firmly he rarely slides down from it. Samadhi is the state where one realises the true self or soul. When true home is noticed everything is realised.

You can find three kinds of Samadhi - Samprajnata(conscious), Asamprajnata(supraconscious) and Jada(inert). Let us first see what Samprajnata Samadhi is. Patanjali explains - Samprajnata is achieved by subsequent argument(vitarka), analysis(vichara), bliss(ananda) and egoism(asmita)(I.17).

Whenever a Yogi converts away from dozens of items that are possibly seen or heard of, he begins to take into account herself, like - who am I; why I am here; what to do here; what this world(samsara) is; who's God and wherever does He lives. This way several arguments(vitarka) can be found in his mind. To be able to know the truth he reads scriptures, concentrates to smart persons and starts analyzing(vichara) what he learnt. A real analyst always ultimately ends up with the truth. Upanishads have glorified human beings and soul(atman). atman has been referred to as Brahman, the ultimate reality. So following correct examination each time a Yogi realizes he herself is that glorified super being, he feels the bliss(ananda). This advances egoism(asmita) in him, as there is none more than him. In this manner and with your feelings a Yogi enters in to Samadhi and realises himself. This is actually the Samprajnata(conscious) Samadhi.

Then comes the Asamprajnata(supracoscious) Samadhi. Each time a Yogi enters in to Samadhi frequently he becomes therefore significantly good in that exercise he no further feels about practice, detachment or correct self. All of these become portion and parcel of his human body and mind. Whenever he wishes he enters in to Samadhi. Patanjali explains Asamprajnata Samadhi as - their state where practice for preventing of ideas remains only as memory(samskara), becomes Asamprajnata Samadhi which will be different compared to the Samprajnata Samadhi(I.18). In that state, feelings, controlling of ideas, training and detachment; all these specific things remain as memory or impression. One only feels the satisfaction of true self. This state cannot be defined adequately. Samadhi

Then let's see what Jada(inert) Samadhi is. In both the Samprajnata and Asamprajnata Samadhi mind is never lost. They're such asleep states where one is getting and fully conscious. A aware being shouldn't make an effort to become unconscious at any state. But many people make an effort to enter in to Samadhi unconsciously. They stay unconscious for a number of hours/days. That is Jada(inert) Samadhi. Patanjali identifies - their state of unconsciousness(videha) and disappearing to the material world(prakritilaya) is as a result of act of inertness(bhava)(I.19).

Unconsciousness is their state wherever one is uninformed of your respective own body, mind or self. It is like entering in to a comatic state. One disappears in to substance earth and becomes just like or as poor as matter. Therefore rather than seeking to become a product thing you need to try to be aware, nice, blissful and intelligent. Unconsciousness is really a infection in Samadhi.

Person who feels that heart is split up from and inferior to God, one can't realise one's true self and enter into Samadhi. Only a Yogi who knows that heart is not distinctive from Lord, might enter in to Samadhi. with this Patanjali instructs - by bearing(pranidhan) God(Ishvara) in oneself(I.23). One should bear God in one's heart of greater mind. For many people it could appear very impossible, because how God may be carried in one's heart. For this Patanjali dscribes who Lord Is. Any human being(purushavishesh) who has separated himself from those evil thoughts which make such fruits of action giving pain is God(Ishvara)(I.24). Therefore one is Lord who has dispelled all evil feelings from the mind. Wicked thoughts might be controlled when one realises that soul is Lord and when one holds Godliness features in himself. By that he converts himself from a mere mortal being to God. Krishna, Buddha, Jesus and Mohammad were all God. They'd imbibed all those heavenly characteristics which people believe to occur in God. All these heavenly features emanates from soul(atman) for this the aim of Yoga would be to realize true home
