Richest man in the world

It’s no more Bill Gates to be among the richest man in the world as per the latest list of Forbes of 2018 as he is being replaced officially by Jeff Bezos who is the CEO of world top e-commerce group Amazon. His future has now risen to 112 Billion USD, which happens to be the richest person in the world for the past two and a half decades. He has been on the list of millionaires since 1997 once he made the earning of his company Amazon to 54 million USD with his initial IPO. After just two years, he made it in the Forbes list for being among the top rich people in the world. His net worth kept on going up and down like a roller coaster swing but by the end of 2017, he replaced Bill Gates and snatched the crown of being the wealthiest in the world.

The credit for being the wealthiest goes to the high share cost of his company, Amazon that unseated Bill Gates from the said position. As per the Quartz, his current net worth by 2018 has increased to 150 billion USD, which is enough to procure the complete stock markets of countries like Iran,  Hungary, Nigeria, Luxembourg, and Egypt.

He is involved in charity work as well apart from being an active fellow in Politics. His wife, MacKenzie Tuttle is a novelist, and the two met long back in 1992, and they got married the following year. The duo has four kids with three sons and one adopted daughter from the country China.  Besides, Forbes, the Fortune, and the Bloomberg Billionaires Index too have named him the richest man in the world.

In the recent list of OCT 2019, now Bill Gates was named the richest man in the world by Forbes’ annual list of the world’s billionaires. This was the 16th time that the founder of Microsoft claimed the top spot. Now Jeff Bezos is 2nd richest man.
