How Apple Can Fix HomePod in 2020

When Apple started designing HomePod seven years ago, the company was willing to make the exceptional sounding speakers that could be used anywhere and still sound great. Apple made huge investments in building up the engineering and expert team for developing the audio mechanism the company was willing. The audio engineering team put their efforts tirelessly into the computational audio concepts and came out with exceptional products that could deliver high-quality audio irrespective of the matter where it is played. But, the question is what went wrong with the so exceptional and ambitious program of Apple.

When  Apple was busy shaping its ambitious HomePod the market was continuously changing and till the company introduced the product, it was completely changed. Amidst all, Amazon had already launched its audio product the Alex along with Google which started to replicate all of them. Till then and now, Apple had introduced several updates regarding the software but of no use and any of these could not ignite the interest of the users for the HomePod like the early days of iPhone or other Apple products. Now, What will be the further course of action by Apple to handle the situation and how it cloud fix it.

Siri

The great fix that could be brought in Siri is starting the talks about the updates related to it and it should be not be limited to only the set of features or quality of voice but also include the performance and consistency. moreover, the updates and improvements should be experienced by everyone. Apple has hired John Gianandrea as the lead to the new artificial intelligence of Apple, who is the former head of search of Google. The hiring could be seen as the new step which could finally deliver the best results regarding delivering the SiriOS which could switch between the devices. The delivery of such software could help the users to get the best and fast information conveniently anywhere.

Mini, TV & Hub

Many of the smart speakers which are also the best sellers introduced by Amazon or Google are very much competitive in the qualities and price that the users pay for Apple HomePod. The devices are far less expensive along with smaller in size and Apple has not yet introduced something like that in the market. Apple had not yet introduced the netbook game as it would not able to compete in the commoditized market where the most crucial factor is how much the product is cheap. In the end, the users want the functionality of the HomePod and that should be not only limited to smaller places but also should expand to more locations. Moreover, A dedicated mode in Apple TV with the permanent soundbar could be of more use when it comes to expending the works get done by HomePod.

Bluetooth & Line-in

Apple should think over fixing the itchy audiophile and should confirm its accessibility for the whole family.  The introduction of Apple Music was an Apple family music plan and seeing that some families could be the multi-platform the company should think over to make it a starter for everyone in the family.

Integration of Siri

The integration of Siri along with SDK will provide the users with more ambient computing towards the voice-driven future that will be much faster. the introduction of several features In HomePod SDK enables it for supporting multi-user purposes including personal requests and handoff. Such features are helpful for the users if they are tapping their iPhone to switch the tunes or tapping Live Radio for getting the online broadcasts.
