Millionaire Secrets - A Taste Of The Mindset

Abraham Lincoln lost his bid for The Light Code Review Congress three times before he was elected. And then he wasn't re-elected. Then, he ran for a Senate seat and lost. Then, he ran for Vice President...and lost. Thomas Edison went through 6000 prototypes before he created a working light bulb. Later, he said, I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

It took Henry Ford five years of failure before he succeeded in inventing his first self-propelled vehicle. It wasn't until seven years later and two failed businesses that he launched Ford Motor Company, where he and 2-3 other men worked on each car, one by one. At the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys, Paul McCartney auditioned for the Liverpool Cathedral choir and didn't get in because the school's music teacher didn't think he was good enough. McCartney is now listed in The Guinness Book Of Records as the most successful musician and composer in popular music history, with sales of 100 million singles and 60 gold discs.

I see one common theme among all of these greats. each listened to his own voice, stayed true to his vision, and persevered in the face of criticism, active discouragement, rejection and total failure.

In each instance, the world was not ready for him until long after he began trying. None of these men followed paths that had been forged. Each followed a new path unique to his own skills and talents, and each defined their industry and helped shape the world in ways I'm sure they would never have imagined when they began their journey.
