Money Tree, originally called Pachira aquatica, is just a tropical shrub from the family Malvaceae. It's a native shrub to South and Central America. This shrub is known by different names such as French peanut, Malabar chestnut, Saba nut, Guiana chestnut, etc.. Pachira aquatica is known as the currency plant or Currency Tree.
