STEPS TO CREATE THE RATE OF TRAP

To start off on the right foot we are going to mark a base with the Hats, select a 1/8 grid and fill the entire midi clip with the Hat. If you work with audio do it exactly the same but with the samples directly. You should be left such that:

Now turn to place the box of our trap rhythm. In this case, I am going to use two samples at the same time to get a thicker sound and that the Beat will fill us much more.

We will place the Bass Drum. My advice here is to be creative, as you have seen in the video different patterns are luxurious.

We continue shaping it with another hat sample. In this case, we will play with the quantization of 1/32 to achieve this interesting pull effect.

Finally, we add another hat layer in this case with a 1/16 grid. As you can see, our Trap rhythm is taking a lot of shapes.
