New Era of Learning (digital learning)

One thing which is going to change after this global pandemic is definitely our education system. When you can use your mobile devices to learn online through learning programs, technology is making a new era in education.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were all stuck at home for a couple of weeks.

So some of these online platforms offer discounts and free courses to kill boredom. Like Coursera, Skillshare offers the free course, and Udacity provides an Udacity coupon for discounts from CouponFond This not only helps increase the productivity of these platforms but makes us realize that it is a new and more trustworthy way of education.

One that questions old theories about learning is that face-to-face is the most helpful or only way to go, or that true education takes a long time,

To these and other such theories incoming data saying otherwise:

  1. Learning through e-learning needs 40 to 60 percent, which is less time than any learning that takes place in a "traditional" classroom. (Source: Brandon-Hall Group study)
  2. E-learning memory rates are within 25 and 60 percent, while face-to-face learning outcomes in retention rates of only eight to 10 percent. (Source: Research Institute of America)

One of the more fast-growing trends at all levels of learning is tablets, laptops, and other mobile devices.

And although, unto lately, mobile devices were being used nearly only as replacements for books, handouts, pen, and paper. Despite this, these technologies are being used to modify how education and learning use circumstances.

Students now are not only happy around technology but react very positively to it. They are not bound to traditional education environments, but are studying — or open to knowledge — anytime, anywhere, on any device.

Education should now include this base and others, including developing the potential for learning and teaching within collaboration with peers and experts, despite location; modernizing workspaces to increase productivity; and giving unlimited access to instructional resources, despite location or device.

Benefits of E-platforms:

Online education isn't restricted to regular students; it's also the foundation of programs concentrated on adult students. One size does not suit all, and it's essential to recognize that when acquiring new or updating the existing online learning programs.

Dr. Lance Ford discussed in His one-hour webinar for "Creating a New World of Learning and Collaboration," while presenting a reimagined educational practice for digital learning. The topics which were highlighted in his webinar were:

  • Helpful learning using any device, anyplace, at any time
  • Securely connecting students, teachers, peers, parents and subject matter specialists
  • Improving student engagement and collaboration by individualizing and changing the guidance

Online learning can be a very fulfilling activity. Not only does it empower students to proceed with education without giving up their careers, but it also enables them to socialize with other students throughout the world.

With so many circumstances to consider, there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this problem. Taking a living situation, education style, and career aims into a plan will help you make a decision that fits your conditions. However, online learning has no enigma and even outdid traditional education on many metrics.
