How to study for exams

The time before exams are when you should focus more on what to do and what not to do to make the most of the time before exams.

It can help you get the best grades after your exams, which is why you need to know how to study for exams, and in this article, I will show you some of the most practical advice.

Organize your exam time: You should spend enough time to organize your time for each subject during the two weeks leading up to the exams. You should spend more time on a long topic and less time on short topics. By doing this and studying at the exact moment you put it in, you will be able to study each topic and gather more information before the exams.

Review what you studied while you were relaxing: For me, the moments of relaxation were before sleeping after waking up and while swimming. I used to practice review during these times, which helped my mind to be so flexible during exam time because I was already practicing information retrieval when there was no study material in front of my eyes. Write questions from the previous year's exams: Take exams from previous years and write your questions without answering them. By doing this, you can help yourself get to know the most important parts of the topic and the least important parts to focus your study efforts more on these parts as you study.

A mix between what you know more and what you know less: Make sure there are parts you know better than others, by focusing on what you know, you will be sure to solve them through review. Study what you know less also mixing what you know better with what you know less, for example, study what you know the first hour and then study what you know less the next hour, by doing this you will reduce boredom before the exams that can affect your study time.

Solve the questions for each part you studied: Now that you have studied a good part of the subject, go back to the exams you studied in step 3 and solve the questions related to what you studied. Mark the questions that you think relate to what you have studied so that you can come back to them when you know your answers.
Pre-test time is sensitive to all students, and managing pre-test time is key to getting the best use of your study effort for your tests.
