Two-step verification is an advanced security feature that would help to secure your account by making it harder for someone else to log in to your Microsoft Account. Two different forms of identity are used your password and a method of contact. What happens when two-step verification is turned on?

Turn on or off two-step verification:
- Step 1- First of all, sign in to your Microsoft Account
- Step 2- Now, click on Security which is at the top
- Step 3- Here, click on More Security Options, located on the right side
- Step 4- When prompted and verify your account with a security code.
- Step 5- set up a two-step verification
- Step 6- enable a two-step verification using Google authenticator

When two-step verification is turned on resetting your password
