The “hands-free” breast pump for moms

The hand free breast pump for moms

The breast pumps for mothers who are in stage lactation are large, noisy, and usually cause severe pain. The devices women use today require women to stop what they are doing from time to time so they can express milk.

But Willow, the first smart breast pump, wants to change that. The Silicon Valley company launched its first hands-free breast pump this week at CES 2017. The drop-shaped pair of devices fit into a woman's bra and silently express milk without the need for foreign tubes.

Inside each pump is a collection bag that holds up to four ounces of milk. The three-piece system is dishwasher safe and the battery lasts a couple of days on a single charge.

Its creators hope that this product will allow more women to breastfeed, as the pumps are discreet, easy to use, and quiet. During the testing phase, the moms used this device during their daily commute by train and during conference calls.

The product comes with a companion app that tracks how much milk has been removed from each breast, how often someone pumps, and how long the session lasts. Instead of having to record the activity in a notebook, Willow does it for you.

Zillow will sell the product for $ 430 when it is released this spring.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States recommend that children be breastfed for at least the first 12 months, so this device would be of great help so that all moms can breastfeeding pump their children without stopping your daily activities, or neglect your children.
