Section 8, is a non-profit organisation having corporate structure and registered under Companies Act, 2013. Prior to Companies Act, 2013, these companies were governed u/s 25 of Companies Act, 1956. NPO can be registered in different forms viz., Trust, Societies, Section 8 Company. Registration Process is different, but the status of the registered organizations is the status of NGO to get funding.
