Rabi al-Awwal
Rabi al-Awwal, the eternal spring, maybe a month of renewal. it's the month of the birth of the blessed Prophet (PBUH), Allah bless him and provides him peace, and it's an opportunity for us to review our connection to him and his message. he's Allah’s gift to us, then we praise him out of religion. We are thankful to Allah for this gift, and thankful for what He has done for us, and represents Him.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) didn't come merely as an envoy who came, spoke a message to deliver, and so left. Rather, Allah sent him as an example to us, who went through trials and tribulations, and also the difficulties and ups and downs of this worldly life. He navigated the trials of this life within the most beautiful of the way, and he bore hardship and pain in order that we could have this gift of Islam.
It's a month to reflect and ask myself: How is my relationship with it? How is my relationship to the message, and to the Message of the lord what quantity do I do know about him? what quantity do I do know about his life? his character? his teachings? what quantity do I seek to embody him in my life?
In this month, we must always renew our commitment to sending blessings upon him. after we do that, it's a covenant to Allah, asking him to place his heart at rest with regard to us.
Important events of Rabi al-Awwal: –
Rabi al-Awwal is that the third month of the Moslem calendar. This month has great significance for Muslims. Many important events transpire during this blessed month. to start with, the migration to Madinah materialized during this month. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) married to Hazrat Khadijah (R.A) in Rabi al-Awal. Eid-e-Zehra also takes place in Rabi al-Awwal. While some important personalities like Hazrat Abu Talib, Hazrat Abdul Muttalib and Hazrat Fatima Masooma-e-Qum died in Rabi al-Awwal.these are a number of the important events that came about during this sacred month. But the event which makes it the foremost special month of the lunar calendar is that the birth of the beloved Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the proper Man: –
Allah sent the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as a mercy for mankind. We are blessed to possess such a superb personality as a task model for us to follow. Allah says within the Quran:-
Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”(3:31)
This indicates that following the instance of the Holy Prophet is capable obeying what Allah commands, for his whole life was spent in the obedience of Allah.
Muslims everywhere the planet welcome the blessed month with great sanctity and holiness for this month marks the birth of the beloved Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
