"Jurassic World 3" was postponed for the summer of 2022.

The director of "Jurassic World 3" Colin Trevorrow announced on Twitter about the transfer of the painting. The third part of the franchise was expected in cinemas on June 10, 2021, but now will see the light of June 10, 2022. The new release date appeared on the first teaser poster of the sequel.

"For the last three months I have been working with an outstanding cast and crew on a film that we can't wait to share with the world. Even if we have to wait a little longer, it is worth it. In the meantime, be healthy and take care of each other".

Filming of the third "Jurassic World" started at the end of February 2020, but in March production was suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Out of the planned twenty weeks, the filmmakers managed to work only four. During the summer, shooting was resumed with all possible precautions taken.

The plot of the film is not disclosed. It is assumed that people will have to deal with the consequences of the second part, where dinosaurs taken from the dying island to the States escaped to freedom and settled in the forests and mountains near people. Colin Trevorrow, who shot the first Jurassic World, is in the director's chair of the project. In the third film, the actors of the original "Jurassic Park" - Sam Neal, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum - will return to the screen for sure.
