4. After processing, the surface is very smooth and easy to anodize and color. Its disadvantage is that if it is left at room temperature for a period of time after quenching, it will have an adverse effect on strength.

The behavior of silicon-induced corrosion of 6063 aluminum profiles can be completely prevented and controlled. As long as the purchase of raw materials and the composition of the alloy are effectively controlled, the ratio of magnesium and silicon is guaranteed to be in the range of 1.3 to 1.7, and the parameters of each process are strictly controlled. To avoid the occurrence of segregation and release of silicon, try to make silicon and magnesium form a beneficial Mg2Si strengthening phase.

If this kind of silicon corrosion point phenomenon is found, special attention should be paid during surface treatment. In the degreasing and degreasing process, try to use a weak alkaline bath solution. If the conditions do not allow it, you should also soak it in the acid degreasing solution.
