Antiques restoration is restoring of antique or work of art to convert it into new condition, or preserving an antique or work of art from further deterioration as in conservation. Restoration can be as simple as  cleaning to remove damaging dirt or grime, such as on the surface of a painting . it can even consist of complete rebuilding or replacement, which can be the case with old automobiles or furniture. Whereas There is a lot of difference between restoring and repairing. The required Functionality can be achieved by a repair, but restoring an item properly is a form of art.
