Advantages of UAV drone mapping

Although RTK can provide high-precision location information in real-time, there are major technical difficulties within the application of UAV. RTK needs a radio or network communication module, but PPK doesn't need it, which reduces the load of the drone and increases the flight time of the aircraft. The operating distance of RTK is restricted , and therefore the operating distance of PPK are often up to 50km. In long-distance and large-scale operating areas, especially belt-shaped areas, like transmission lines, highways, railways, and oil and gas pipelines, PPK are going to be the simplest choice.
