Siberian Husky Puppies for Sale - Central Park Puppies

With its wolf-like looks, the Siberian Husky is a unique breed in various colors and markings. Most notably, the Siberian Husky’s blue or multi-colored eyes and distinctive facial masks make the breed highly recognizable. This breed originated in Siberia and is an avid athlete built with intelligence and independence. Many first-time Husky owners may feel it challenging to keep a handle on who is in charge as their pup may seem to have a mind of its own.

Easily trainable, the Husky is smart and capable of immense athletic ability. They have gained the reputation of being “Houdini” dogs as they seem to escape fences with ease. For this reason, this breed should not be left alone in back yards unattended for long as they can become bored and escape without warning.

These puppies are full of positive traits and are a fantastic breed to make part of your family as long as you keep them safely contained. They are affectionate but not pestering and are considered to do well with other dogs and children. They will welcome anyone into their homes happily; therefore, they are not necessarily the choice for guard dog purposes.

The Husky’s intelligence can cause them to learn unsavory tricks, which makes them need proper training and plenty of opportunities for socialization. Fully grown, they can be strong-willed and, therefore, not appropriate for timid dog owners. These pups are happy to live in urban and suburban settings but should never be left unattended for long in fenced yards.

Daily walks and exercise keep this breed happy and in shape; they can enjoy playtime in dog parks as well as long hikes with their companion. They are protective of their families but are rarely threatening and aggressive. Their build is strong and sturdy, and they are covered in fluffy fur. Distinctive pointy ears and a wolf-like muzzle give the Siberian Husky a unique look.

This breed is not as suitable for apartment living as other breeds, but if given plenty of exercise and time outdoors, they can adapt to almost any living situation. These pups do not need a lot of food to be healthy and generally enjoy a low-calorie diet. Well-adjusted Huskies make lovely family pets and are loyal companions to those they love. They do have an adventurous spirit and a curious mind, making it easy for them to wander away if not leashed.
