Vengurla Rocks Old Lighthouse

Vengurla Rocks is well known for its beacons. The old beacon is situated on Burnt Island. It was built during the 1800s by the British. This was the main beacon worked by the British in the 1800s. Some time ago, the lighting contraption that should have been introduced didn't reach there on schedule.

It was then chosen to consume a log fire as a wellspring of light. This old work of art has stood the trial of time and still helps us to remember the engineering during the 1800s.

This beacon is situated on a bigger stone and is a conspicuous fascination among voyagers. This new beacon was implicit in 1931 by John Oswald, who was then the central assessor of beacons. The pinnacle is encircled by a couple of rotted structures that once used to be the residences of the light-attendant families.
