Manjaro Linux 20.2 Nibia just released

The Manjaro Linux development team today announced the availability of Manjaro Linux 20.2 as a second version for the Manjaro Linux 20 series of GNU/Linux distribution based on Arch Linux.

Named "Nibia", Manjaro Linux 20.2 brings all the latest GNU/Linux technologies and open-source software.

Compared to Manjaro 20.1, Manjaro Linux 20.2 upgrades the KDE Plasma interface from Plasma 5.19 to the latest Plasma 5.20.4 and the GNOME interface from version 3.36 to the newer version GNOME 3.38.2.

On the other hand, the new version of Manjaro Linux also features the lightweight Xfce 4.14 interface, as Xfce 4.16 is still in development and is expected to be released in early 2021.

If you like the Cinnamon environment, you'll also find the latest version of Cinnamon 4.8 in software repositories.

The new Version Manjaro Nibia runs the latest Linux 5.9 kernel series for better hardware support, uses the Pamac package manager that has been updated to version 9.5.12, and includes many other upstream updates.

If you want to install Manjaro distribution on your computer, you can download Xfce, GNOME, and KDE Plasma images as ISO from the official website. All three versions, run with the long-term supported Linux 5.4 LTS kernel and newer Linux VPS versions.
