6 Types of False Eyelashes

False eyelashes are one of the biggest cosmetic trends for the past years. These fabulous beauty accessories complete that glamorous look most of us are obsessed with. Not all people are born with thick luscious lashes, but the cosmetic industry has blessed us with the best eyelash solutions. There are various choices out in the market; let's find out what best fluttery lashes suit you.

  • Individuals

If you want to give yourself a subtle boost to the length of your natural lashes, individual lashes are a great option. It adds definition in certain areas of the lash line. You have control over where and what you want to define. When you apply this correctly, they can blend in with your natural lashes for that more natural look. Get a pair of tweezers or, more preferably, lash applicators to create your eyelash look. It would be helpful to have a magnifying mirror since you're going to be working with tiny pieces.

  • Strips

Strips are the most common or known type of false eyelashes. When someone talks about false eyelashes, what commonly comes to mind are the strips. It's a horizontal band of synthetic lashes worn on the entirety of your upper lash line. Strips are best for people who aim for a more dramatic look in an instant. You'll need tweezers or, preferably, the applicators that are made specifically for eyelashes. Apply an appropriate amount of lash glue on your upper lash line and place the strip on each eye.

  • Clusters

Clusters are also called accents or flares. They are best used if you want the drama and volume strips, minus the possible lifting in the corners. Clusters are more workable and customizable than strips; pop them in the corner of your eyes for that cat-eye effect. You can apply clusters by putting a small amount of adhesive onto your upper lash line then place each one as desired.

  • Extensions

If you want the look of long thick lashes but don't have the patience to apply them daily, you can go with extensions. This is the semi-permanent way to get those long luscious lashes without the daily routine of creating or putting them on. Extensions should last for up to 6 weeks with proper care and maintenance. Just a heads up, the application is pricey, but don't risk your natural lashes with "cheap lash extensions". The results are undoubtedly phenomenal with a price and some at-home maintenance or scheduled touch-ups with the salon.

  • Fantasy

If the natural and subtle look is boring you, go with the fantasy category. These fantasy lashes will give you the most dramatic lash statement with their brightly-colored feathers flaring out of your lash lines. They are usually used for special occasions that scream for more dramatic lashes. Or wear them daily; our only rule for using fantasy lashes is "be fabulous!" Applying fantasy lashes is the same as applying strips.

  • Magnetic

Applying false eyelashes can be a struggle, especially for us who barely have the patience to work on tiny objects. Not to mention the time pressure the drying glue is giving us. Magnetic eyelashes are another smart option in the market. Instead of glue, you'll need to apply magnetic eyeliner then place your magnetic eyelashes on it. Now to remove them, gently rub the magnetic lashes with your fingers. Avoid tugging or pulling; let the magnets come apart in a side-by-side motion.

We at Bondi Lash highly recommend our Signature Kit magnetic eyelashes. Our magnetic eyelashes are light, high quality, cruelty-free, and vegan. Go ahead and purchase your first-ever signature kit and have lots of fun showing off your acquired luscious lashes!
