Colorado in the CBD cultivation race

Village Farms International joined into a partnership with Arkansas Valley Hemp to engage in outdoor cultivation of cannabis.

This venture will aim to cultivate high quality CBD hemp and also harvesting of that CBD in Colorado.

The properties of Arkansas Valley Green and Gold properties got distributed in the following: 60% by the Village farms, 35% owned by AV Hemp and 5% owned by Village Fields Hemp.

The venture will solely focus on hemp cultivation and CBD extraction.

The targeted land for production procedures will be around 920 acres in the Arkansas valley which is almost 800 acres more than what was previously used. Colorado had always been in the forefront of CBD cultivation.

Now with this opportunistic venture will allow for leaps and bounds in progress of CBD cultivation.

With more scientific achievements and breakthroughs in cultural practices and genetics there will be constant evolution in CBD cultivation also through various ways.
Arkansas is located 125 miles south of Denver.

It boasts of fertile lands and well suited climate for growing cannabis. Colorado was one of the first state to start cultivating hemp when it was legalized by the government in 2012.

Whats happening now in the valley?

800 acres of the valley has been taken up for plantation which spans across Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Planting occurs in June and harvesting occurs in mid-June.
