Avatar: Katara’s Character Development

The series from the universe of Avatar Netflix is working on currently continues to be one of the most waited series on Netflix.

For a lot of people, seeing their favorite characters coming to life on the screen in 3D is going to be a true breath of fresh air.

While the full-length movie of the franchise received mixed reviews, it still managed to garner a massive number of viewers and became one of the biggest-budget movies of all time.

The good news is that the rumors are unfounded and Netflix has nothing to do with it.

CEO Hastings told reporters in May that he wasn't "actively developing" any new movies, but there have been several Avatar clips and TV shows released in the meantime.

So we just have to wait and hope that the final product will be of high quality and meet all the canons.

The original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender sets up the mythology while the sequel basically portrays the challenges that old traditions present to relatively modern society.

There is also a greater emphasis on reforms that alter the course of the Avatar world.

The legend of Korra does an excellent job of creating quite an ambitious show with a strong storyline, and they deserve all the credit they get.

But Korra’s legacy will undoubtedly pale in comparison to that of Aang’s since she has had to follow up on the legacy of arguably the most astonishing Avatar to have ever lived.

She has successfully made a name for herself by taking courageous decisions that challenge the status quo.

The only thing that makes the story seem lacking in some ways is because of the considerable time gap between Korra and Aang’s time which could have been avoided by creating a second series between the two existing ones.The world of Aang was entangled with so many traditional and cultural norms that it feels too old.

Since the Monks and Air Nuns were not supposed to have a family as they lived an ascetic life, he was on a spot.Aang was just twelve years old when he fell in love with Katara even though he knew that he was going against the culture and traditions of monasticism.

But that can be overlooked because at that time he had no Nomads to show him the right way.

Therefore, Aang was not wrong in deciding to learn the four elements, and taking on Fire Lord Ozai.

He did all of this for the greater good while at the same time he remained a pacifist as well by not taking Ozai’s life after defeating him, which many believed to be unavoidable.As far as his marriage to Katara is concerned, that too turned out to be the right thing to do in the long run.

While Bumi was a non-bender but his siblings Kya and Tenzin were Waterbender and Airbender respectively, which meant that Avatar was not the Last Airbender after all.But when he was the only Airbender he was free to decide the fate of the Air Nomad tradition as he wished.

The Last Airbender initially aired on children’s television channel Nickelodeon and is now available for online streaming on Netflix.

The sequel aired four years after the first part ended its run.

Even though the story of The Legend of Korra will be different from the first one, there are quite a few characters from the previous installment who have featured in both the series.

The animated series was set in a world where a few people could manipulate the elements of earth, fire, water, and air.

This was done through the Chinese martial arts technique known as bending.The story revolved around a boy named Aang, the current avatar who could bend all four elements and has the responsibility to maintain a sense of peace and harmony between the world’s four nations.

James Cameron is working on the four sequels of the 2009 movie Avatar.

Avatar 2 is an upcoming American science fiction movie produced, edited, directed, and co-written by James Cameron.

But the project went under development hell as the team was not able to shoot underwater sequences properly with the old technique cameras.

So Cameron decided to develop a new technology to perform the underwater scenes better.The shooting of the film started on 15 August 2017 in Manhattan Beach, California, and now the film is finally wrapped in September 2020.
